AVRIL LAVIGNE FILES FOR DIVORCE

Punk princess Avril Lavigne has filed for divorce from musician Deryck Whibley, a month after they announced their separation.
Lavigne, 25, who cites irreconcilable differences in her Los Angeles suit is not asking for spousal support from Sum 41 frontman Whibley, 29, and she is asking the court not to order her to pay any to him.
The Canadian couple married in California three years ago.
Lavigne claimed on the blog that the separation was amicable, writing: “Deryck and I have been together for six-and-a-half years.
“We have been friends since I was 17 and started dating with I was 19 and married when I was 21.
“I am grateful for our time together and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship. I admire Deryck and have a great amount of respect for him.
“He is the most amazing person I know and I love him with all my heart. Deryck and I are separating and moving forward on a positive note.”
But when they split a source told Us magazine: “She dumped him and told him she was leaving him. She wants to move on.”
She was also said to have forced him out of their $9.5 million Bel Air mansion.
Earlier this month Whibley was spotted with model and designer Hanna Beth Merjos at a party at the Mirage hotel in Las Vegas.
