BRITNEY'S NEW FILM ROLE
Pop star Britney Spears has been offered her first film role since the disastrous Crossroads in 2002.
In The Yellow Star of Sophie and Eton she would play Sophie LaMont, a woman who creates a time machine and travels back to World War II, according to the National Ledger.
There she meets and falls in love with a Jewish man called Eton in a concentration camp.
They attempt to travel back to the present day to marry, but are killed by Nazis.
Shooting is due to begin in the autumn, after the 27-year-old Circus star finishes the second leg of her American tour.
Spears is currently back in Los Angeles after finishing her British and Irish shows, and heads back to Paris to continue her European tour on July 4.
