CHRIS BROWN PARTIES AFTER SENTENCING
Chris Brown hit a trendy Los Angeles club hours after being sentenced to probation and community service for assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
The 20-year-old singer went to Guys & Dolls with a group of friends and did not seem to have a care in the world as put on an impromptu show, to the delight of other patrons.
Clubgoer Cory Honickman told Us magazine that when Michael Jackson's song Dirty Diana was played: “He stood up on the back of the booth when the song came on, got a mic and not only sung, but dances his a** off.
“It was insane and no one could look away. He is incredibly talented.”
When the song ended Brown shouted to the crowd: “There was only one King of Pop. We love you, Michael.”
Earlier in the say Brown was more serious as he was sentenced to five years probation, six months of community service and year of domestic abuse counselling after pleading guilty to assaulting the Umbrella singer last February.
He was also ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from her until 2014.
Brown, who must report to the probation service by today at the latest, could technically already have breached the terms of his probation.
According to celebrity site TMZ his probation reports Brown must “abstain from the use of all alcoholic beverages and stay out of places where they are the chief item of sale.”
Guys & Dolls serves food but it is mainly a watering hole.
But TMZ said: “But here's Brown's saving grace. In her sentencing order, the judge did not mention the restriction.
“We're told the judge trumps the probation department, so Brown is probably in the clear by the skin of his teeth.”
Brown, who has issued a public apology for Rihanna, has talked to chat show host Larry King in his first interview since he was arrested.
According to E! News it was a “no-holds-barred chat” and will air next week.
