EDDIE VAN HALEN WEDS
Guitar god Eddie Van Halen has married his girlfriend of three years, Janie Liszewski.
The 54-year-old rocker was given away by his son Wolfgang, 18, and his brother and bandmate, drummer Alex Van Halen, 57, an ordained minister, performed the ceremony.
Making it even more of a family event, Van Halen's former wife, actress Valerie Bertonelli, 49, was among the 100 guests.
The couple divorced in 2007 after 25 years.
The ceremony took place at his seven-acre estate in the Hollywood Hills above Studio City, with Liszewski walking down the aisle at seven on Saturday evening to Van Halen's When It's Love, performed by the Sonus Quarter, according to People magazine.
Liszewski, 39, was given away by her mother and was also walked down the aisle by Kano, her 15-year-old Pomeranian. Her sister, Jennifer, was maid of honour.
The bride wore a champagne and pink dress by Hanna Hartnell, and earrings and bracelet by Bulgari.
The groom and best man dressed down in cotton jeans and un-tucked buttoned-down shirts.
Both sides of the bridal party wore flip-flops.
The couple wrote their own vows and designed their rings – for her, a platinum wedding ring beside a three-carat diamond engagement ring, for him, a gold ring set with yellow diamonds.
After the 30-minute service guests nibbled mini-hamburgers and corn dogs before a formal dinner of Mojito marinated prawns, fillet steak, orange and rosemary glazed chicken and grilled organic vegetables.
No alcohol was served and the toasts were made with non-alcoholic French sparkling cider and perry, to celebrate Van Halen's 18 months of sobriety.
The cake was layers of white chocolate, strawberries and whipped cream.
After dinner the newlyweds danced first to Joe Cocker's You Are So Beautiful, Van Halen's choice, then Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper, chosen by the bride.
They will honeymoon in New York, Germany, and his native Holland.
