JACKSON ESTATE TO PAY FOR FUNERAL

Michael Jackson's estate is to foot the bill for his funeral, nearly two months after the city of Los Angeles paid millions for his memorial ceremony.
Jackson is due to be buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California, tonight amid strict security.
Streets around the cemetery were closed off to the public and airspace above it was restricted.
The funeral costs will include reimbursing Glendale for the extra police and traffic control coverage.
“The expenses will be extraordinary, but Michael Jackson was extraordinary,” said Jeryll Cohen, a lawyer for the estate's administrators.
Jackson's mother, Katherine, who has been appointed guardian of his three children, asked Los Angeles Superior Court to rule that the estate should foot the bill.
Judge Mitchell Beckloff agreed, but did not put a dollar figure on the amount.
The King of Pop, who died on June 25, aged 50, was to be interred at Forest Lawn's Grand Mausoleum in a 300 minute sunset service due to start at 6.30 pm California time.
The Mausoleum, which features a full-size marble replica of Michelangelo's statue The Pieta, and a stained-glass copy of Leonardo De Vinci's The Last Supper, is the final resting place for stars including Clark Gable, Carol Lombard and Jean Harlow.
A source told E! News that mourners were expected to include Diana Ross, Brooke Shields, Corey Feldman and talk-show host Larry King, but contrary to earlier reports Aretha Franklin was not set to sing.
The family were making final preparations for the service on Wednesday.
The source said: “The kids are getting fitted for their tuxes that they'll wear tomorrow. Everyone is supposed to wear black again like they did to the first one.”
Jackson's brother Marlon revealed the children, Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and seven-year-old Blanket have written letters to be placed in his coffin, reading: “Daddy, we love you, we miss you.”
Meanwhile investigators are continuing to investigate his death as a homicide after his death certificate was amended to say he died by “intravenous injection by another.”
