LA TOYA FOOTAGE IN BRUNO VIDEO
Footage of La Toya Jackson cut from Sacha Baron Cohen's film Bruno in the wake of Michael Jackson's death will be included on the DVD.
In the scene an unwitting La Toya, 53, went through an excruciating interview with Cohen, believing him to be the flamboyant Austrian fashionista.
At a hilltop house in Los Angeles she was forced to perch awkwardly on a semi-naked Latino labourer who is on all fours on the floor, and to use chopsticks to eat sushi from the stomach of another nearly naked man who was wheeled into the room on a hospital trolley.
Cohen also joked about Michael Jackson's high-pitched voice and trademark white glove.
The scene ended after 90 seconds when Cohen borrowed her mobile phone, looked up Michael Jackson's number and shouted it out in German.
She stormed out of the interview with Cohen, 38, shouting after her: “La Toya, come back. Can you at least get me Jermaine?”
The film had its premiere in Hollywood on June 25, the same day the King of Pop died unexpectedly, aged 50, and Universal Pictures scrambled to cut La Toya, even though the whole film had already been seen by reviewers.
Now the scene will be included as an extra on the DVD, due for release on November 17.
