LINDSAY LOHAN'S NEW FASHION JOB

Actress Lindsay Lohan has been appointed artistic advisor to French fashion house Ungaro.
She and founder Emanuel Ungaro will unveil their first collection in Paris in October, and Ungaro hopes that Lohan and new designer Estrella Archs, will help revamp the brand, which has been out of the limelight in recent years.
The Mean Girls star, 23, who already has a line of leggings, told fashion bible WWD she hopes to take the line to a “younger place” with a harder edge.
“When I'm involved in a project I give my all to it,” she said. “I feel like there's a correlation between everything I do, whether its pop music or film.
“I've always played a big part in what I wear, the costumes. Clothing is something that's so expressive in so many ways. It really interests me.”
Lohan has signed a multi-year deal with Ungaro but will not appear in adverts.
Chief Executive Officer Mounir Moufarrige said: “I've got a moving advertising campaign through Lindsay. She's a super consumer and it's a new idea. She's photographed thousands of times a week.
“Odds are it could work. Everything we're going to get is going to be a plus. I think the noise level around Lindsay will be very, very big.”
He hopes Lohan's involvement will expand the company's celebrity client range, which includes Eva Longoria Parker and Rachel McAdams.
Asked what her role will actually be, she said she: “Kind of oversees everything Estrella does while working with her. Different generations have different ideas.”
Lohan has ideas of her own, saying: “Every woman wants to be sexy – without being too much.
“I want it to be simple and easy. I really think less is more. The reason I love fashion is it's ever-changing; there's something new all the time.”
Spanish-born Archs, 35, who first met Lohan in June, is also enthusiastic.
She said: “We get along really well. I think she's fun. She has an eye for fashion. She's very enthusiastic. She's very much for the youth, for the sexiness.”
Lohan is also finishing work on her new film, Machete, a thriller with Robert De Niro and Jessica Alba, which she hopes will revived her flagging movie career.
“It's really exciting to be back into film with so many wonderful people where I can learn so much,” she said.
