MEGAN FOX CHANGES HER TUNE
Actress Megan Fox has transformed her opinion of the film series which made her a star.
During the summer she criticised both her hit film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and director Michael Bay.
But she changed her tune when she accepted a sci-fi actress award at the Spike TV fourth annual Scream Awards at the weekend.
“I don't usually do this but I wanted to say something,” she told the audience at the Los Angeles suburb of Los Feliz. “There have been a lot of false reports about how I feel about this movie.
“I just want to be very clear that I've always felt I'm a very ordinary part of an extraordinary film.”
She added about her first Transformers movie in 2007: “The movie took me out of obscurity and gave me a career, and I'm completely grateful to everyone involved with this franchise.”
In July Fox, 23, and Bay, 44, noted for action films like The Rock and Pearl Harbor, exchanged words, with her saying that Transformers was about the action, not the acting.
He countered by calling her “ridiculous.”
The controversy continued in September, when she compared him to Hitler and said he was a nightmare to work for, prompting three crew members to post a blog calling her “dumb as a rock.”
Bay made a conciliatory posting, saying he still loves working with Fox despite her “crazy quips.”
More recently her wrote: “Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture .
“Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal haemorrhaging and inability to sleep.”
