MICHAEL LOHAN THINKS LINDSAY IS LEADING HER SISTER ASTRAY
Lindsay Lohan's father fears the faded starlet is leading her little sister astray.
Ali Lohan, 15, was at the Mean Girls star's side when she was partying in Paris to launch her first fashion line for Ungaro.
Her designs were roundly criticised and she appeared disorientated backstage at the show.
Now Michael Lohan fears Ali could follow in 23-year-old Lindsay's footsteps.
“Lindsay's leaning on Ali right now,” he told Radar Online. “Do you think that's good? Leaning on your 15-year-old sister?”
Asked if he fears Ali could take the path that led Lindsay to a string of film flops after her early promise, two drunk-driving arrests, criticism from filmmakers over her bad behaviour on set and public rows with lesbian lover Samantha Ronson, he said: “Absolutely!
“The biggest argument I had with Dina when it came to Lindsay was when she allowed her to go out to California by herself at age 17 and live with another girl. I was totally against it.
“That was when we were going through difficulties in our marriage and Dina wasn't listening to a word I said. That's when we broke up.
“Lindsay was living out there with a 19-year-old girl and everything went haywire.”
Michael recently said he feared Lindsay was becoming addicted to prescription drugs and planned to stage an intervention to make her get treatment.
His ex-wife, Dina, was furious and stormed: “I don't go – like my ex – on national television and make things up.
“He's estranged from Lindsay; he doesn't know what's going on in her life. Michael doesn't talk to her.
“I've had full custody of all my children for the last 10 years. He has been incarcerated for some of that time, so whatever is going on in Lindsay's personal life is our business.
“And for him getting paid to say things about her when he's five months behind in child support is wrong.”
Lindsay, whose last film, Labor Pains, went straight to DVD, has finished work on the thriller Machete, with Robert De Niro and Jessica Alba, which she hopes will be a comeback vehicle.
