MICHAEL LOHAN WILL "ALWAYS LOVE DINA"
Lindsay Lohan's father Michael says he will always love her mother Dina – even though she is dragging him through the courts over unpaid child support.
“Regardless of what Dina says or what happened, I respect her and will always love her as the mother of my children and a special person,” he told the New York Post.
“She is a breath of fresh air after what I have gone through over the past two years.”
Last week Michael appeared in court over missed support payments for his two younger children, Ali, 16, and Dakota, 13, but he claims he owes less than Dina says.
“Court papers indicate Dina claims it is $15,000 not $40,000. Dina received a lot of cash from me as well as commissions on business deals I executed, which she fails to mention.
“We will straighten this out in the next few weeks and start the new year on a positive note.”
Michael is also facing a legal battle with his ex-fiancee, Erin Muller, who has filed court documents in Nassau County, New York, asking that harassment allegations he has made against her be dropped.
In the papers, obtained by celebrity site TMZ, she accuses him of being a serial woman-beater while they were together.
She lists six specific incidents from December 2007 to June 2008.
She alleges Michael “slapped Erin in the face twice because Erin accused him of giving him a fake watch for her birthday” and “punched Erin in the moth” because she had a male friend on Facebook.
On another occasion he “whipped a computer cord” at her face, cutting her hand when she blocked it, and later “kicked Erin Muller in the ribs.”
In May 2008 he allegedly “kicked Erin Muller in the vagina, bruising it and causing substantial pain.”
A month later she alleges he “spit in Erin's face, and beat her repeatedly with his fist,” then “yelled at her to 'stop crying c**t' – other peole will see you – if they see you I will kill you.”
Last March he allegedly threatened to kill Muller and commit suicide when she broke off their engagement.
He pleaded guilty to second-degree harassment in return for avoiding jail time, and she sought a restraining order against him.
Earlier this month he was briefly arrested after allegedly breaching the order by calling her.
Days later she was arrested when he filed a police report alleging she kicked him in the head during an argument in November.
