Stars want Sopranos to be brought back
Stars of hit television Mafia drama The Sopranos are calling on its creator to bring the popular show back from the dead.
The series bowed out last year after an extended sixth season but even since fans have been desperate for more.

Oscar winning Irish songwriter Glen Hansard has come under attack for bungling his Gaelic in his thank you speech at the Academy Awards ceremony.
The former Frames frontman tried to say "thanks a million" in Irish in his speech, which was seen on television by millions of people around the world.
Martin Sheen to get top Catholic honour
Hollywood star Martin Sheen, who is also known for his work as a political activist, is to receive a top Catholic honour from a prestigious U.S. university.
The 67-year-old actor will be honoured by Indiana's University of Notre Dame with its Laetare Medal.

Daniel O'Donnell to help US television station

Irish superstar Daniel O'Donnell has had to drop out of a planned
fundraising event for an American television station because he has a
chest infection.
He was due to be the guest of honour at a cocktail party tomorrow
night at Valley Public Television in Fresno, California, to meet and
greet supporters of the station.
Guests at the US$500 event will get a pair of tickets for
O'Donnell's May 21 concert in the city, as well as wine and nibbles,
but will miss out on the chance to meet him.

The baby daughter of tragic model Anna Nicole Smith has been named
her sole heir – with the two men who fought to be named her father
appointed as trustees.
Lawyer Howard K Stern, who was living with Smith when baby Dannielynn
was born in September 2006 and was executor of her estate, filed a
petition to clarify her intentions.
Her will, drawn up in 2001, left all her assets to her son Daniel,
who died three days after Dannielynn's birth, from an accidental
overdose, in his mother's hospital room in the Bahamas, aged

Lindsay Lohan is set to replace troubled pop star Britney Spears as
the host for a Scandinavian Style Mansion fashion gala in Los Angeles
next week.
The move is the latest sign that after a year marred by two
drink-driving arrests, three spells in rehab and two flop films, Lohan
is getting her life and career on track.
And her mother and younger sister are also branching out, shooting a
reality television show which will start to air this summer.

Actress Salma Hayek has revealed an ugly secret about her
six-month-old daughter – she really wanted a boy.
The Ugly Betty creator says she loves baby Valentina Paloma Pinault,
whose father is French Gucci and Yves St Laurent boss Francois-Henri
Pinault, and cannot imagine life without her.
But the 41-year-old Frida and Desperado actress confessed to Glamour
magazine that when she learned she was pregnant she thought a boy
would have an easier life.
