FRED DURST FILES FOR DIVORCE
Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst has filed for divorce after just three months of marriage.
Papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court show he and Esther Nazaroy actually separated just a month after their Las Vegas wedding in July.
The couple became engaged in April and he bought her a Neil Lane ring.
At the time he Tweeted: “I've never known true love until now. So grateful.”
Durst, 39, turned again to Twitter when he announced their split last month, saying: “Thank you all SO much for our concern and extremely kind words. Sincerely. We remain very positive and wish only the best for each other.
GARTH BROOKS' COMEBACK
Country superstar Garth Brooks is coming out of his virtual retirement after nine years to perform in Las Vegas.
Brooks, 49, whose hits include Friends in Low Places, If Tomorrow Never Comes and Beaches of Cheyenne, will become a resident performer at the 2,000 seat Encore Theatre at Wynn Las Vegas.
The announcement ends months of speculation about his comeback after he was spotted having dinner with hotel and casino magnate Steve Wynn earlier this year.
FERGIE TO MAKE SWEET MUSIC WITH HUSBAND
Stacy Ferguson wants to make sweet music with her husband of 10 months, Transformers star Josh Duhamel.
Black-Eyed Peas star Fergie, 34, has installed a karaoke machine in their Los Angeles home for them to sing together.
“Josh has proved to be a decent singer,” said columnist Janet Charlton. “They're actually considering a duet – something romantic and sweet – for Fergie's next album. And it's Fergie's idea.”
But she warned: “Keep in mind, Fergie, that collaborating with your mate can be a bad idea – just ask Guy Ritchie.”

Lindsay Lohan's father fears the faded starlet is leading her little sister astray.
Ali Lohan, 15, was at the Mean Girls star's side when she was partying in Paris to launch her first fashion line for Ungaro.
Her designs were roundly criticised and she appeared disorientated backstage at the show.
Now Michael Lohan fears Ali could follow in 23-year-old Lindsay's footsteps.
“Lindsay's leaning on Ali right now,” he told Radar Online. “Do you think that's good? Leaning on your 15-year-old sister?”
GISELE BUNDCHEN HIRES LAWYER
Pregnant supermodel Gisele Bundchen and her husband Tom Brady have hired lawyers to defend themselves in a federal lawsuit.
Photographers Yuri Cortez and Rolando Aviles are suing the Brazilian beauty, 29, and her American football star Brady, 32, claiming they were fired on by security guards after the couple's wedding party in April.
Bundchen and Brady actually married in a simple Catholic ceremony in Santa Monica, California, in February.
They then had a second bash in Costa Rica, where the two men were found hiding in bushes trying to get pictures of the pair.
At the time they claimed they were ordered to hand over still and video images to security because Bundchen had done a deal for exclusive coverage with a Brazilian magazine.
MADONNA HINTS AT SUICIDE
Superstar Madonna has hinted that she contemplated suicide during her divorce from director Guy Ritchie last year.
But she said she was saved by non-stop work.
“It was a challenging year,” she told Rolling Stone magazine. “I may have thrown myself off a building. I think work saved me and I'm very grateful that I had work to do.”
As well as her Sticky and Sweet tour, the 51-year-old singer teamed up with Justin Timberlake for her hit 4 ½ minutes and worked with Lil Wayne on her new song, Revolver.
But she revealed she was rejected when she tried to work with another music icon, Eminem.
KEANU REEVES NOT THE DADDY
Actor Keanu Reeves is not the father of any of a Canadian woman's children, a DNA test has proved.
But Karen Sala, who sued the Speed and The Matrix star for child and spousal support, claiming he was the father of at least one of her four adult children, has vowed to fight on.
“Ms Sala is challenging the validity of the DNA testing so the case goes on,” Reeves' lawyer, Lorne Wolfson, told E! News.
“If she wants to challenge it, let her go right ahead. But we are confident that the DNA testing was done properly and that the results are sound.”
Sala claims she has know Reeves, 45, since she was nine and had a sexual relationship with him before, during and after her marriage.
AVRIL LAVIGNE FILES FOR DIVORCE
Punk princess Avril Lavigne has filed for divorce from musician Deryck Whibley, a month after they announced their separation.
Lavigne, 25, who cites irreconcilable differences in her Los Angeles suit is not asking for spousal support from Sum 41 frontman Whibley, 29, and she is asking the court not to order her to pay any to him.
The Canadian couple married in California three years ago.
Lavigne claimed on the blog that the separation was amicable, writing: “Deryck and I have been together for six-and-a-half years.
“We have been friends since I was 17 and started dating with I was 19 and married when I was 21.
MEGAN FOX NEW FACE OF ARMANI
Transformers beauty Megan Fox will strip down to her skivvies as the new face – and body – of Emporio Armani Underwear.
News that she is replacing Victoria Beckham in a worldwide campaign starting in January comes just a week after it was announced football star Cristiano Ronaldo will replace her husband, David Beckham.
Fox, 23, who did her first shoot for the range in Los Angeles last weekend, will also promote Armani jeans, according to fashion bible WWD.
But while the Beckhams appeared in some adverts together, Fox and Ronaldo will be featured differently.
Fox fans who can't wait to see her showing off her curves can see her in her next film, the horror comedy Jennifer's Body, opening in November.
AL MARTINO DIES
Singer Al Martino, who topped the first ever British pop charts with Here In My Heart in 1952, has died, aged 82.
Martino, who played the Frank Sinatra type role of Johnny Martino in The Godfather, died at his home in the Philadelphia suburb of Springfield.
No cause of death was given and Philadelphia broadcaster Jerry Blavat, who had dinner with Martino and his wife Judi on Monday night said he was shocked because he had appeared to be in good health.
ANGELINA JOLIE REPLACES CHARLIZE THERON
Charlize Theron has dropped out of the thriller The Tourist, and Angelina Jolie is said to be in talks to replace her.
As well as replacing Theron, 34, who had been attached to the project for a while, the film is seeking a new director after Bharat Nalluri left last week.
Jolie, also 34, who has just finished an action role in Salt, would play an American tourist who goes undercover on behalf of Interpol who help trap her former lover, a suspected world-wide criminal.
The role is described as half seductress, half action heroine, and the film as Hitchcokian in atmosphere.
BONO AND THE EDGE GET SPACEY
U2 could have a new band member when they perform in Moscow next year – a Russian cosmonaut.
Band members Bono and The Edge spoke to astronauts on the International Space Station during a visit to the Johnson Space Station in Houston, Texas, and learned that second-generation cosmonaut Roman Romanenko is a huge fan.
“I'm very familiar with your art and I'm looking forward to take part next year in Moscow in your performance,” he said. “How 'bout one song with you guys?”
The Edge asked him: “How's your guitar playing, Roman?”
DRINKING WITH CHEERS' NORM
Actor George Wendt, who made his character of boozy Norm Peterson on Cheers a bar-room bravado, has revealed he was virtually typecast.
In a new book, Drinking With George, he tells how he enjoyed his first sips of his grandfather's beer as teenager and grew up to love the bottle.
He recalls missing orientation day at Notre Dame University because he was sleeping off a hangover, and spending the week he should have been doing his finals on a bender 1,000 miles away.
ORLANDO BLOOM IS GOODWILL AMBASSADOR
Lord of the Rings star Orlando Bloom is the latest Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations' children's fund, UNICEF.
The 32-year-old hunk has worked with the organisation for two years, visiting Nepal, Russia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Announcing his appointment he said: “I look forward to learning more and to supporting UNICEF any way I can.
“UNICEF doesn't just deliver humanitarian aid, which is what they are known for all over the world.
“They also educate and provide tools which help women and children face challenges specific to their own lives.”
HARRISON FORD TO CRACK WHIP AS INDY
Actor Harrison Ford is relishing his role as a hands-on dad as he gets ready to crack the whip in a fifth Indiana Jones film.
The 67-year-old star of Patriot Games and Clear and Present Danger is taking a break after finishing work on two films and will take on the role of the dashing archaeologist and adventurer again next year.
“The story for the new Indiana Jones is in the process of taking form,” he said at the Deauville Film Festival in France, where he was receiving a career award.
“Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and myself are agreed what the fifth adventure be about, and George is actively at work.

MEGAN FOX "DUMB AS A ROCK"
Three crew members who worked with Megan Fox on Transformers have written a scathing open letter calling her ungracious and “dumb as a rock.”
They posted their comments on the Transformers web site after Fox, 23, compared director Michael Bay to Hitler.
“We've had the tedious experience of working with the dumb-as-a-rock Megan Fox on both Transformers movies,” wrote the anonymous trio, who have worked with Bay for 10 years.
“She's as about ungracious a person as you can ever fathom. She shows little interest in the crew members around her. We work hard to make her look good in every way, but she's absolutely never appreciative of anyone's hard work.”
MAURA TIERNEY QUITS SHOW
Former ER star Maura Tierney has dropped out of her new show to have treatment for breast cancer.
Tierney, 44, announced in July that she had found a tumour in her breast and her show, Parenthood, was put on hold for two months while she had surgery.
Now she has left the comedy about a dysfunctional family, based on the 1989 Ron Howard film of the same name and written and executive produced by Jason Katims.
Her spokesman said in a statement: “Maura Tierney regrets that she will not be able to continue her role on Parenthood due to a conflict with the production schedule of the show and her breast cancer treatments.
LAUREN BACALL TO RECEIVE HONORARY OSCAR
Legendary screen sex siren Lauren Bacall is to receive an honorary Oscar.
The 84-year-old actress, who made her screen debut opposite Humphrey Bogart in the 1944 thriller To Have and Have Not, went on to marry her leading man and star with him in the classic hits The Big Sleep, The Dark Passage and Key Largo.
In all, she starred in more than 30 movies including North West Frontier with Kenneth More in 1959, the star-studded big screen adaptation of Agatha Christie' mystery Murder On The Orient Express in 1974 and The Shootist opposite John Wayne in 1976.
JANET JACKSON REMEMBERS MICHAEL
Singer Janet Jackson has recalled the last time she saw her brother Michael alive, at a family gathering on May 14.
And she says she still cannot fully believe that the King of Pop is dead, at the age of 50.
“It's really hard to believe he's passed,” she told Harper's Bazaar magazine.
Remembering sharing a Thai meal with Michael and other relatives, she went on: “We had so much fun that day. He would laugh so loud he would just start crying.
“We kept calling each other after and saying how great it was.”
