PARIS JACKSON'S FIRST HAIRCUT: TRIMMINGS SWEPT UP

Michael Jackson's 11-year-old daughter Paris has just had her first haircut – and security made sure all the trimmings were carefully swept up.
Paris had her hair and nails done on Sunday at the Amp salon in the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas, arriving with her aunt, Jackie Jackson's wife, and a woman believed to be the Jackson children's private tutor.
Television reporter Alicia Jacobs happened to be sitting in the next chair, and overheard security to sweep up all her long hair and put it in a plastic bag.
“Can you imagine the value of Paris' hair?” she e-mail columnist Norm Clarke. “DNA...the truth, finally.”
And she tweeted: “Every last hair from Paris' haircut gathered from floor, placed in plastic bag, & given 2 her tutor.”
Jacobs, who met Paris at a party thrown by Janet Jackson last month, said the girl indicated it was the first time she had ever had her hair cut.
She added: “Paris says she chose the green fingernail polish because it matches the Palms limos.”
Paris also said she had visited the amusements at Circus Circus hotel, where her father often took her and her brothers, Prince Michael I, 12, and seven-year-old Prince Michael II, known as Blanket.
Meanwhile, Las Vegas businessman Jack Wishna, who organised Jackson's move to the gambling capital when he ended his 18-month exile last year, believes a tourist attraction based on the King of Pop could turn Las Vegas' faltering economy around.
“Done right we can exceed what Disneyland can do,” he told Clarke.
Wishna hopes to meet representatives of Jackson's estate to discuss possibilities, which could include a theatrical venture like Cirque du Soleil, a museum, or a property similar to Elvis Presley's Memphis memorial, Graceland.
“It would single-handedly life this town into prosperity,” he went on. “This is going to be something we've never seen before.
“This is one of the largest brands the world's ever seen. His fan base is one of the largest in the world.
“It's going to come down to what is the best home for a Michael Jackson attraction, and my bet is Vegas.”
He said the final decision will be up to Jackson matriarch Katherine, who has been appointed guardian of the children.
