PIERCE BROSNAN OWED THOUSANDS BY CO-STAR
Kind-hearted actor Pierce Brosnan will have to wait another day to recoup money he loaned his Die Another Day co-star Michael Madsen.
Veteran screen heavy Madsen, 50, filed for bankruptcy last month and court papers show one of his debts is $25,000 to the 57-year-old Navan-born former 007.
He owes another million dollars to Quentin Tarantino, 46, who directed him in Kill Bill and Reservoir Dogs, for which he created the memorable villain Mr Blonde, named the second greatest movie villain of all time by Maxim magazine.
Other creditors include luxury hotels, car dealers, jewellers, clothes shops, banks and hospitals, according to court papers obtained by E! News.
Madsen, who has made more than 150 films in a career spanning nearly 30 years, lists debts totalling $3.7 million.
His average monthly income is about $50,000 – be he claims that after paying his bills he has a net loss of $3,392.
