SHEEN'S WIFE JEALOUS OF HIS DAUGHTER
Actor Charlie Sheen flew into a rage with his wife after she became jealous of his five-year-old daughter.
He told police their Christmas Day fight started when he told Brooke Mueller about a special song he shares with young Sam, whose mother is his ex-wife Denise Richards.
The song is believed to be about a Christmas present he bought for her and Mueller, father of his nine-month-old twin sons, became upset and demanded to know why she and Sheen did not have a special song.
“Charlie says she is really jealous of his daughters, especially after he and Denise started getting along,” a source told E! News.
Sheen and Richards, who also have a four-year-old daughter Lola, had a bitter divorce and custody battle.
According to the source the fight is not the first., and that Mueller has become suspicious of Sheen, 44, because of his past drug and alcohol abuse and his admitted use of call-girls.
“The tiniest thing will set them off,” the source added: “Charlie has a bad temper. It gets scary
“Obviously the fight wasn't just about the song. Nothing excuses what Charlie may have done, but there's more there.
“They've got to think about those two little boys. But yeah, I think it will end in divorce.”
Sheen spent about 10 hours in jail in Aspen, Colorado, on Christmas day after she called police and said he was threatening her with a knife.
According to a police report Mueller, 32, said Sheen became furious when she told him she wanted a divorce and custody of babies Bob and Max, pinned her to the bed and put a knife to her throat, threatening to kill her.
Sheen told Officer Rick Magnuson she had been abusing alcohol, was jealous of his daughter and that they were having marital problems.
He admitted grabbing the glasses off her face and snapping them in two during the “predominantly verbal” scuffle but denied threatening her with a knife.
Another source told E! The couple had earlier fought in Aspen during the Thanksgiving holiday in November, and that family members begged him not to join her in Aspen.
Sheen returned to Los Angeles after his release and is due in court on February 8 to face charges of menacing, second-degree assault and criminal mischief.
He is subject to an order of protection to keep him away from Mueller, and the incident has been reported to child protection services, who could report it to authorities in Los Angeles.
A spokesman at the Pitkin County Department of Social Services told celebrity site TMZ: “Where there is a domestic dispute and children are present in the home, we are always notified.
“If the family is vacationing in Pitkin County and we feel that a thorough follow up is needed, we will contact the department where the family resides.
