SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN FIGURES - REAL-LIFE FAIRYTALE FOR ACTRESS
A young woman who plays Snow White at the world famous Disneyland is enjoying a real-life fairy tale after her visits to the wishing well paid off.
Actress Natalie Marston has swapped her seven dwarfs for seven much bigger figures are winning more than (US$5.2 million on the Californian lottery.
"I know I played Snow White but I feel more like Cinderella," said the 22-year-old happy beauty, who no longer has any reason to feel grumpy. "In a million years, I would not have thought something like this could happen to me."
Natalie hit the jackpot when on a whim she bought a winning scratch off ticket that that earned her US$2,000 but also qualified her to appear on the California Lottery TV game show Make Me a Millionaire.
The actress, who has appeared in films like Magnolia with Tom Cruise, will now take home US$195,0000 after taxes for 20 years.
Natalie, who lives in Rancho Cucamomga, Southern California, has quit her Disney job of four months, which she said she was doing only to further her acting career.
Referring to her role as Snow White, Natalie, who started acting when she was just five years old, said: "It was just something I did to have an income between my acting jobs. I had a great run, a lot of fun and I got to meet great people and adorable kids."
Natalie, who has also appeared in TV commercials and television shows, went on: "To have this happen was definitely more than I would have ever expected. I still don't think I believe it to this day."
While she no longer has to whistle while she works, Natalie said she plans to keep seeking acting jobs.
